Description
This flex cable carries the LiDAR scanner of the iPhone 14 Pro Max device. This sensor measures distances using an infrared beam, which is used notably for quick camera autofocus, augmented reality effects and room mapping. When this sensor stops responding, the functions that depend on it may become unstable or stop working altogether.
This part is compatible with the iPhone 14 Pro Max model. It is a third-party manufacture: it is not Original, but it allows you to replace the sensor at a reduced cost. Before you start, switch the device off completely and disconnect the battery. Work on a clean surface, with an anti-static mat if possible, and use suitable tools so you do not damage the connectors or the other flex cables.
After fitting, check that the sensor is detected and that the flex cable is properly clipped in. Then test the affected functions, such as autofocus or augmented reality. If the device overheats abnormally or if a battery looks swollen, stop immediately and do not use it any more.
