Description

This spudger is a repair tool with a thin, flexible blade, sold in a pack of three. It is used to separate glued or clipped parts inside a device, such as a screen, a back cover or a touch panel, without forcing or damaging the neighbouring components. Its blade lets you slide between the edges to gently release the part being replaced. It suits a wide range of devices, as it is intended for all models.

Before you start, switch off the device and disconnect the battery when the procedure requires it, to avoid any short circuit. Work on a clean surface with good lighting, and take the time to warm adhesives slightly if necessary, without exceeding moderate heat. Avoid piercing, bending or forcing a lithium battery: if it is swollen, stop using it.

After reassembly, check that the device works properly before closing it up completely. For a replaced battery, a few full charge cycles are recommended. This tool is a compatible part made by a third party; take care to check the fit of each reassembled component carefully.
