Description
The Galaxy Note 8 stylus is an original accessory designed for writing and navigating on the touchscreen of the compatible device. It lets you take notes, draw or select items with more precision than with your finger. When it is missing or damaged, this function becomes difficult to use, and the storage slot can also cause problems. It is an official manufacturer part, identical to the one supplied with the device.
Before you start, switch off the device and note the original position of the stylus for correct fitting. Check that the tip and the body show no cracks before using it. Avoid knocks and excessive temperatures, which could damage the storage mechanism. Gentle cleaning with a dry cloth is enough to keep the tip in good condition.
Once the stylus is back in place, test writing on the screen and check that detection works across the whole active area. Also check the operation of the ejection or storage mechanism if your model has one. If you are unsure about a step, take the time to re-read the device instructions before continuing.
