Description
This metal bracket is a chassis part designed for the Galaxy Note 20 model, US version. It holds certain internal components of the device in place and ensures the overall mechanical stability of the assembly when the phone is closed or put together. If the bracket is bent, cracked or loose, vibrations, abnormal play or poor fixing of some elements may appear. This part is a compatible version, made by a third party: it is not identical to the original part.
Before you start, switch the device off completely and disconnect the battery if the procedure requires it. Work on a clean, flat surface, with an anti-static mat if possible, and keep the small screws in a precise order. Never force the plastic tabs or the connectors, and do not use a metal tool to lever near the battery.
Once the bracket is fitted, check that it sits flat, that the screws are tightened without excess and that nothing blocks the neighbouring parts. Then reassemble the device, switch it on and check its general operation. If a battery was disconnected, let it charge normally, then carry out a few full charge cycles to stabilise everything. If a battery is swollen, stop using it.
