Description
The metal support Nintendo Switch OLED is a part of the device chassis. It holds the internal components in place and ensures the rigidity of the whole assembly. When it is damaged or missing, it can cause play, creaking or misalignment of some parts of the device. This replacement part is of compatible premium quality, made by a high-end third-party manufacturer with a finish close to the original.
Before starting the fitting, switch the device off completely and disconnect the battery when the procedure requires it. Work on a clean surface, with an antistatic mat if possible, and use suitable tools so as not to scratch the chassis. Keep the small screws in a dedicated compartment so you do not lose them. Good lighting and a little patience prevent most mistakes.
After reassembly, check that the support is securely fixed, that it does not move and that the neighbouring components are correctly positioned. Switch the device on and check its general operation. If a battery was disconnected, carry out a few full charge cycles to stabilise the whole. Never use a swollen or damaged battery, and never puncture or bend the lithium battery.
