Description
This display cable bracket for Pixel 6 is a frame part that holds the display cable in place inside the device. It secures the cable so that it stays stable during use and during everyday handling. A badly positioned or damaged bracket can cause poor display contact, vibrations or a display fault. This compatible part is useful when the cable is no longer held properly after an impact or repeated opening.
Before fitting, switch off the device and disconnect the battery to avoid any short circuit, then work on a clean, flat surface. Avoid static electricity by touching an earthed metal surface. Do not bend the cables, do not force the connectors and keep the small screws in a separate container. Moderate heat is enough when removing the parts.
After reassembly, check that the bracket holds the cable without play and that all connectors are properly clicked in. Switch the device back on and check the display, touch screen and buttons before closing the casing completely. If the battery is swollen, stop using it and do not try to puncture or bend it.
Tips
- Switch off the device and disconnect the battery before any work
- Avoid static electricity: work on a clean surface
- Do not force the connectors or bend the cable
- Check the display and touch screen before closing the casing
- A swollen battery must no longer be used
Fitting
