Description
The front glass is the glass surface that protects the screen of your iPad 2 and receives your fingers during touch use. This compatible part replaces the current glass when it is cracked, shattered or no longer responds properly to touch. Before you start, switch off the device completely and disconnect it. Work on a clean, well-lit surface, with a small suitable tool kit and suction cups to lift the glass gently. Disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables and avoid excessive heat, as the lithium battery must not be punctured or bent. If the battery is swollen, stop using the device.
After fitting, check that touch responds across the whole surface, that the screen displays correctly and that the edges are firmly attached. Switch the iPad back on and check its operation before closing the casing for good.
