Description
The blue work mat is a repair tool for laying out your parts and small screws while you dismantle a device. It works with all models, with no specific reference to match. It helps keep a clean work surface, stops you losing screws and makes it easy to track the order in which components were removed.
This mat helps prevent problems caused by poor storage or a cluttered workspace during a repair. It does not replace any part: it supports the work, particularly when replacing the current screen, a worn battery or a connector. For ribbon cables and fragile parts, work on a stable, well-lit surface.
Before you start, switch the device off and disconnect the battery if the repair requires it. Arrange the screws by zone so you can find them again when reassembling. Then check that all elements are properly in place and that the device starts normally. Avoid excessive heat and sharp objects on the battery, and handle components carefully to limit static electricity.
