Description
This SIM and microSD card tray is designed for the Q6 (2017) model. It lets you insert or remove the cards without fully opening the device. When it is broken, bent or worn, the card may no longer be recognised, slide or jam in its slot. Replacing it restores a good hold of the card and proper contact with the connectors.
Before you start, switch off the device and remove the back cover and the battery if your model allows it, to avoid any short circuit. Work on a clean surface, with a suitable opening tool, and place the small screws in a container so you do not lose them. A compatible part may show slight differences in finish: compare it with the old one before fitting and never force the insertion.
Once the tray is refitted, insert the cards, switch the device back on and check that the SIM and the microSD are properly detected. Also check that the tray clicks into place without play and that the seal of the casing is correct. If you are unsure about the handling, do not force anything and stop the procedure.

- A swollen battery must no longer be used
