Description
The SIM tray is the small part that holds the SIM card and, sometimes, the microSD card. It slides into the side of the phone and lets you change cards without opening the device. This compatible part replaces the tray of the Galaxy A02s (model A025, released in 2020) when it is broken, bent, jammed or no longer sits properly in place.
The most common faults are a tray that no longer opens, gets stuck halfway, sticks out crooked or no longer detects the card. Replacing the tray solves these problems without touching the motherboard. Check first that your model is indeed the A025 before ordering, to avoid any doubt about compatibility.
Before fitting, switch off the phone and remove the case. Use a SIM pin to release the old tray and proceed without forcing it. Keep the current part aside until the end of testing. After installation, insert a SIM card, check that the tray closes correctly and that the network is detected.
