Description
The SIM tray is the small part that holds the SIM card and, depending on the model, the microSD memory card. It slides into its slot on the side of the phone. On the Galaxy A20s (A207, 2019), it can break, bend or jam, so the card is no longer recognised or the tray will no longer eject. This compatible tray lets you replace the current part and restore normal insertion of your cards.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and unplug the charger. Use a pin or an ejection tool to open the tray, then remove it carefully. Never force it and do not bend the frame. Work on a flat, clean surface, away from static electricity, and try to avoid touching the gold contacts.
Once the new tray is fitted, check that it sits straight and clicks into place without resistance. Put the SIM card back, switch the device on and check that the network and, if needed, the memory card are detected. If the tray is slightly too tight, stop rather than forcing it.

- Switch off the phone and unplug the charger before any handling
- Use a suitable ejection tool and do not force the tray
- Avoid static electricity and do not touch the gold contacts
- Check that the tray sits straight and clicks in without effort
- Test SIM card detection after assembly
