Description
The SIM tray is the small part that holds the SIM card and, depending on the model, the memory card. It slides into the side slot of the phone. This compatible tray replaces the existing part when it is broken, bent, stuck or lost. It gives you clean access to the SIM card again and lets you reinsert the card properly without forcing it.
The most common faults are a tray that no longer comes out, a SIM card that is no longer detected after handling, or a damaged slot that lets the card move. Before fitting, switch off the phone and remove the SIM card. Check that the existing part is fully released from its slot and note its insertion direction. Use an ejector needle or a fine tool, without forcing it.
After replacement, insert the SIM card into the new tray, put it back in place, then restart the device and check network detection. If the tray does not close properly, stop and check its alignment. Do not bend the part and do not apply excessive pressure.
Tips

- Never force the tray closed: check the alignment first
- Check SIM card detection after restarting
