Description
The SIM tray is the small part that holds the SIM card and, sometimes, the microSD card. It slides into the side edge of the phone and lets you insert or remove these cards without opening the device. When it is broken, bent or no longer comes out, the card is no longer detected or the tray gets stuck.
This compatible tray is intended for the A5 (2020) model. It is a part made by a third party, which replaces the current part without changing the rest of the phone. Before fitting, switch off the device, remove the case and use the ejector tool to take out the old tray. Check that the new one fits properly into its slot, without forcing it.
After replacement, insert the SIM card and check that it is recognised, then test the spring and the fit of the tray. Avoid shocks and twisting, and handle the parts carefully so as not to damage the ribbon cables nearby.
