Description
The SIM tray is the small holder that receives the SIM card and keeps it in place inside the Aristo 5. It lets you insert or remove the card without opening the device. When it is damaged, bent or worn, the card may no longer be detected, the network may disappear or the tray may get stuck.
This part is a compatible version, made by a third party. It lets you replace a faulty tray at a low cost. Before you start, switch off the device, disconnect the battery if your model allows it and work on a clean surface. Use a suitable opening tool and avoid excessive force, especially on small parts and ribbon cables.
After fitting, check that the tray slides without resistance, that the SIM card is correctly positioned and that the network is detected. Touch an earthed metal surface before handling the components to limit static electricity. If the device overheats abnormally or the battery swells, stop immediately and stop using the device.

- Avoid static electricity: work on a clean, anti-static surface
- Check that the tray slides in smoothly without forcing it after fitting
- Do not drill, bend or use a swollen battery
