Description
The SIM tray is the small component that holds the SIM card and, depending on the model, the microSD memory card. It slides into the edge of the phone and lets you insert or remove the cards without opening the device. When it is broken, bent or no longer sits properly in place, the phone may lose signal or fail to recognise the SIM card.
This compatible tray replaces the current part for the Samsung Galaxy A04s (A047). It is a third-party component, offered as an affordable solution for a repair. Before you start, switch the phone off and remove the case. Keep the SIM card aside and use the ejection tool supplied with the device or a fine needle, without forcing it. Work in a clean, dry place and avoid any static discharge.
After fitting, check that the tray slides in without excessive play and that the edge seal is correct. Put the SIM card back, switch the phone on and check that the network is detected. Never puncture, bend or crush the battery.
