Description
The SIM tray is the small part that holds the SIM card and, depending on the model, the microSD card. It slides into the side of the device. Over time it can crack, warp or stop locking properly, which prevents the card from being detected or makes it fall out. This compatible tray replaces the current part when it is damaged.
This part is intended for the Samsung Galaxy A20e (A202, 2019). It is compatible quality, made by a third party, and not original quality. Before you start, switch off the device, remove the case and use a suitable ejection tool. Work in a clean, well-lit area, and avoid static electricity by touching a metal surface before handling the components.
Once the tray is refitted, check that it slides in without forcing and sits firmly in place. Insert a SIM card, restart the device and check that the network is detected. Never force the tray: an incorrect position can damage the ribbon cable or the connector.
