Description
The SIM tray is the part that holds the SIM card and sometimes the memory card of your smartphone. When it jams, bends or no longer ejects, it becomes impossible to access the card. This compatible tray replaces the current part on the A3s (2018) model and gives you clean, reliable access to your cards again.
Before you start, switch off the device and remove the case. Use the ejection tool to pull out the existing tray without forcing it, then compare the shape and notches of the new tray with the old one. Avoid excessive pressure on the chassis and handle the part carefully so the contacts are not bent.
After replacement, insert the tray, check that it slides freely and that the SIM card is properly detected. If the tray does not close correctly, do not force it and check the alignment. Static electricity can damage components: work on a dry surface and discharge yourself before touching the ribbon cables.
