Description

The SIM tray is the small part that holds the SIM card and, depending on the model, the memory card. It slides into the side of the phone and must stay perfectly straight so that the contacts make proper contact. This compatible part fits the Galaxy S22, reference SM-S901B. It is used to replace a tray that is broken, bent or no longer closes properly, as well as a tray whose plastic has cracked or whose sealing gasket is worn.

Before you start, switch the smartphone off completely and use the SIM ejector to remove the old tray. Work on a flat surface, with adequate light, and avoid forcing anything. If you need to open the phone to access another component, disconnect the battery before handling any ribbon cables, and protect the device from static electricity. Keep heat at a moderate level during disassembly.

After fitting, check that the tray slides in without resistance and is properly aligned with the chassis. Switch the device on and confirm that the SIM card is recognised and the network appears. If the phone does not detect the card, stop and recheck the positioning before continuing.
