Description

The SIM tray is the small metal or plastic part that holds the SIM card and, depending on the model, the memory card. It slides into the side slot of the phone and must stay firmly in place so the network is detected correctly. This compatible tray is designed for the Galaxy S22+. It replaces the current part when it is broken, bent, jammed or no longer closes properly.

Before you start, switch off the phone and use a pin or SIM ejector tool to release the tray. Check the orientation of the current part and compare it with the new one before removing it. Avoid applying excessive force to the chassis and handle the device carefully, taking care of static electricity. If the part is held by a seal or a particular mechanism, note its position so you can refit it exactly the same way.

After fitting, check that the tray slides in without forcing, that it does not protrude and that it stays properly closed. Reinsert the SIM card, switch the phone back on and check that the network is recognised. If the tray jams or the card is not detected, remove it again and check its alignment.
