Description
The SIM tray is the small metal part that holds the SIM card and keeps it in place inside the phone. It lets you insert or remove the card without opening the device. When it is bent, broken, jammed or no longer clicks into place properly, the SIM card is no longer detected or the phone shows a no SIM message.
This compatible tray is designed for iPhone 12 models with references A2403, A2172, A2402 and A2404. It is a third-party part, suitable for replacing the existing tray. Before you start, switch the phone off completely and remove the SIM card. Work on a clean, flat surface and use a suitable ejector tool so you do not force the housing.
After fitting, check that the tray slides without play and that the SIM card is held securely. Insert the card, restart the phone and check that the network is detected. Handle the components with care and avoid static electricity.
