Description
The SIM tray is the small metal part that holds the SIM card and slides it into the phone. It is compatible with the iPhone 12 Pro Max, references A2411, A2342, A2410 and A2412. This compatible part is made by a third party and replaces the current part when it is damaged, bent or no longer locks correctly.
The most common faults are a tray that sticks, no longer comes out, goes in poorly or whose sealing gasket is worn. Before you start, switch off the phone, remove the SIM card and use the suitable ejection tool. Work on a clean, clear surface and avoid putting any strain on the other chassis components.
After fitting, check that the tray slides freely and clicks into place without play. Insert the SIM card, switch the device back on and check network detection. If the device is damp or the gasket is not seated properly, do not use it until it is completely dry.
