Description
The SIM tray is the small metal part that holds the SIM card and keeps it in place inside the phone. This compatible version is designed for the iPhone 13 Pro Max, identifiable by its references A2643, A2484, A2641, A2644 and A2645. It is used to replace a tray that is damaged, bent or no longer closes properly, which can prevent the SIM card from being detected or cause the network to drop.
Before you start, switch off the device and remove the SIM card along with the ejector tool. Use a suitable tool to dismantle the tray without forcing the chassis, and work on a clean surface to avoid losing the small parts. Avoid unnecessary contact with electronic components, as static discharge can damage them. If the current part is heavily deformed, compare the two trays before fitting the new one.
Once the tray is installed, check that it slides without friction and locks properly. Put the SIM card back, switch the phone on and check that the network is detected correctly. If a problem persists, stop using the device and check the fitting before continuing.
