Description
The SIM tray is the small part that holds the SIM card and keeps it in place inside the phone. It sometimes wears out or breaks, for example after repeated removal of the card or after a knock, and may then jam, fit badly or no longer be recognised. This compatible tray is designed for iPhone 15 models with references A3090 and A2846, and allows you to replace the faulty part.
Before you start, switch off the phone and eject the tray using a suitable fine tool. Work on a clean, flat surface, and guard against electrostatic discharge by regularly touching an earthed metal surface. Check that your device reference matches the one shown in the listing before proceeding. Handle the small parts carefully so you do not lose them.
Once the tray is replaced, check that it slides in without force and that the SIM card is held securely. Switch the device back on and verify network detection. If in doubt, stop and never force the mechanism.
