Description
The SIM tray is the small metal piece that holds the SIM card and, on some models, the memory card. It slides into the edge of the device and lets you insert or remove the card without opening the phone. This compatible tray is designed for the iPhone 15 Plus, references A3094 and A2847.
It is used to replace a SIM tray that is damaged, bent, broken or no longer ejects properly. These faults can prevent the card from sitting correctly, cause loss of signal or make removal difficult. Replacing only the tray is a simple repair that avoids touching the other internal components.
Before you start, switch off the device and use a suitable pin to open the current tray. Work on a clean, flat surface and take your time. After fitting, check that the tray inserts and ejects without forcing, then that the card is detected correctly. If the current part is bent, do not try to straighten it for reuse.
