Description
The SIM tray is the small metal part that holds the SIM card and keeps it in place inside the phone. It slides into the side slot and lets you insert or remove the card without opening the device. When it is broken, bent or cracked, the card no longer sits properly, the phone stops detecting the network, or the tray no longer ejects. This compatible iPhone 15 Pro part, references A3102 and A2848, replaces the current part without changing the rest of the device.
Before you start, switch the phone off and prepare a well-lit workspace, a tray so nothing gets lost, and a suitable ejector tool. Avoid forcing the tray or pulling it out at an angle, as the sealing gasket can be damaged. Handle the components carefully and avoid static electricity by touching an earthed metal surface before handling the part.
Once the tray is refitted, check that it slides without resistance and sits firmly in place. Insert the SIM card, switch the phone back on and check that the network is detected. If the part shows unusual play or the phone does not respond, stop and repeat the check before going further.
