Description
The SIM tray is the small metal piece that holds the SIM card and lets you insert it into the phone. When it is broken, bent or worn, the SIM card no longer sits properly, is not always detected or jams on every attempt to open it. This SIM tray compatible with iPhone 18 Pro lets you replace the current part without touching the rest of the device.
Before you start, switch off the phone and remove the SIM card. Use a suitable opening tool to extract the old tray without forcing it, and avoid any static electricity by working on a clean surface. If the battery looks swollen or damaged, do not continue, and never puncture or bend it.
After fitting, check that the tray opens and closes smoothly, then insert the SIM card to confirm it is correctly recognised. Switch the device on and test the network reception. If the phone still does not detect the card, recheck the positioning of the tray before drawing any conclusion.
