The SIM tray is the small metal part that holds the SIM card and slides it into its slot on the side of the iPhone XR. When it is damaged, bent or broken, the SIM card no longer sits properly, the phone no longer detects the network, or the card jams and will not come out. This replacement tray gives you a clean slot for your card and reliable access to your line.

Before you start, switch off the iPhone XR completely and use a suitable SIM ejector pin, without forcing it. Work on a clean, flat surface and keep the small screws and components in a small tray.
