Description
The SIM tray is the small part that holds the SIM card and, depending on the model, the memory card. It slides into the edge of the phone and lets you insert or remove these cards without opening the device. When it is broken, bent or worn, the tray may no longer click into place, may jam, or may let dust and moisture reach the contacts.
This version is a compatible part made by a third party. It is designed for the K22 (2020) and offers an affordable solution for replacing the current part. Before fitting, switch off the phone and insert the ejection tool into the small hole in the tray to pull it out. Remove the SIM card and, if needed, the memory card. Work on a clean surface free of static electricity.
After replacement, check that the tray slides without forcing and locks correctly into the frame. Switch the device back on and check that the SIM card is detected. If the repair seems tricky, handle the small parts with care and never force the mechanism.
