Description
The SIM tray is the small part that holds the SIM card and, depending on the model, the microSD card. It slides into its slot on the side of the device. This compatible part for the K52 (2020) lets you replace a tray that is broken, bent or no longer locks in properly.
This type of fault often shows up as a tray that no longer pops out, that wobbles or that no longer closes properly. A damaged tray can also let dust in or stop the SIM card from being recognised. Replacing the part avoids forcing the slot and limits damage to the rest of the device.
Before fitting, switch off the phone and remove the case. Use a suitable ejection tool to take out the old tray without bending it. Compare the current part with the new tray to check the shape and the notches. Once refitted, insert a SIM card and check that the tray clicks into place easily and that the card is detected correctly.
