Description
The SIM tray is the small part that holds the SIM card and, depending on the model, the memory card. It slides into the side slot of the phone. When it is broken, bent or worn, it can stop the card from sitting properly, cause a loss of network or make insertion difficult.
This tray, compatible with the Redmi 8A, replaces the current part when it is damaged. It gives you a clean slot for your cards again, so you no longer have to force the slot.
Before fitting, switch off the phone and remove the case. Use a suitable ejection tool to take out the old tray without forcing it. After replacement, check that the tray clicks in without play and that the SIM card is recognised. Avoid excessive heat while handling it.
