Description
The SIM tray is the small part that holds your SIM card and, depending on the model, a microSD card. It slides into the side slot of the phone and must stay securely in place for the network to work properly. When it is broken, bent or no longer closes correctly, the phone may fail to detect the SIM card, show "no service" or refuse the tray.
This part is a compatible reference for the Redmi 9C, made by a third-party manufacturer. It lets you replace a damaged tray without changing the whole chassis. Before fitting, switch off the device and remove the cover. To take out the old tray, use the ejection tool or an unfolded paper clip. Keep the current part to hand so you can compare the dimensions and the orientation of the notch.
After replacement, insert the tray without forcing it, check that it clicks in flush with the chassis, then turn the device back on and check that the SIM card is detected. Avoid excessive heat while handling it.
