Description
The SIM tray is the small holder that takes the SIM card and, depending on the model, the microSD memory card. It slides into the side of the phone and lets you insert or remove the card without opening the device. This part, compatible with the Redmi 9T, can replace a tray that is broken, stuck, bent or no longer locks properly.
Before you start, switch off the phone and remove the case. Use an ejection tool to open the old tray, without forcing it. Compare the new part with the old one: same shape, same insertion direction, same notches. Handle the components carefully and discharge static electricity by touching a metal surface.
After fitting, check that the tray slides without resistance and that the SIM card is properly detected. Never puncture or bend a lithium battery; if it appears swollen, stop using it. Avoid excessive heat while working.
