Description
The SIM tray is the small part that holds the SIM card and the microSD card of your smartphone. It slides into the side slot of the phone and lets you insert or remove your cards without opening the device. If the tray is bent, broken or no longer ejects, the SIM card is no longer read properly and the phone may show no network or an error message.
This tray, compatible with the Redmi K20 Pro, is made by a third party. It replaces the current part without changing how your phone works. Before you start, switch off the device, place it on a flat, clean surface, and use a fine needle or a suitable ejection tool to remove the tray gently. Avoid excessive force so you do not damage the motherboard.
After replacement, insert the SIM card and check that the tray closes properly, without play or sticking. Switch on the phone and check network detection. Before handling, remember to discharge static electricity by touching a metal surface.
