Description
The SIM tray is the small metal or plastic part that holds the SIM card and, depending on the model, the microSD card. It slides into the side of the phone and lets you change cards without opening the device. When it is broken, bent, worn or stuck, the card no longer stays in place, the phone stops detecting it, or the tray will not go back in. This compatible SIM tray is designed for the Redmi Note 10 and lets you replace the current part when it is damaged.
Before fitting, switch the phone off completely and unplug the charger. Use the ejection tool to remove the old tray, then compare the shape and notches with the new part before installing it. Handle the components carefully and avoid pressing on other internal parts, and avoid excessive heat.
After fitting, check that the tray slides in without forcing, that the SIM card is held securely and that the phone finds the network. If the card does not stay in place, stop and check the alignment before continuing.
