Description
The SIM tray is the small part that holds the SIM card and sometimes the memory card. It slides into its slot on the side of the phone and lets you insert or remove the cards without opening the device. When it is broken, bent or worn, the tray may no longer click into place properly, refuse to come out or leave the card misaligned, which stops the network from being detected.
This SIM tray is a compatible part for the Redmi Note 11E, made by a third party. It is designed to replace the current part when that one is damaged. Before you start, switch the phone off completely and use the SIM ejector tool to remove the old tray. Check the shape of the slot and compare the two parts side by side to avoid any error of orientation.
Once the new tray is in place, check that it slides without forcing and stays firmly fixed. Insert the SIM card, switch the device back on and check that the network is detected. For any work on an internal component, work on a clean surface and avoid static electricity.
