Description
The SIM tray is the small part that holds the SIM card and the microSD card in your phone. Over time it can break, warp or no longer click properly into its slot. This compatible tray replaces the current part for the Droid Mini (XT1030 / 2013) and restores normal use of your SIM card.
It addresses the most common faults: a tray that no longer comes out, gets stuck or no longer stays in place. This is a compatible part made by a third party, not an original part. Before fitting, switch the phone off, remove the case and the damaged tray, then check that the new tray sits in its slot without forcing it.
After reassembly, test inserting and ejecting the tray several times, then check that the SIM card is detected correctly. Never force the tray and use a suitable ejection tool. Handle the components carefully to avoid electrostatic discharge, and do not drill or bend anything on the battery.
