Description
The SIM tray is the small part that holds the SIM card and, sometimes, the microSD card of your device. On a Galaxy Fold 4G, it lets you insert and remove the card without opening the phone. When it is broken, bent or worn, the card no longer sits properly in place, the phone no longer detects the network or the card slides out of its slot. This compatible replacement tray solves these connection and card-holding faults.
The part offered is a third-party manufacture compatible with the Galaxy Fold 4G model. It follows the shape and position of the original tray, but it is not the manufacturer's part. Before you begin, switch the device off completely, remove the case and accessories, then work on a clean, dry surface. Use a suitable ejection tool so you do not force the edges of the current part.
Once the tray is replaced, check that it slides without friction, that the SIM card is held firmly and that the phone detects the network. Power the device back on only after these checks. If the tray is cracked or the card jams, stop fitting and go back through the steps.
