Description
The SIM tray is the small part that holds the SIM card and, on some models, the microSD card. It slides into the side of the phone and lets you insert or remove these cards without opening the device. When it is damaged, bent or broken, the card no longer sits securely, the phone no longer detects the network or the memory card, and the tray can jam in its housing.
This part, compatible with the Galaxy Note 5, replaces the current tray without changing how your device works. It is made by a third party and is intended for careful do-it-yourselfers. Before replacing it, switch off the phone and use the ejection tool to remove the old tray. Compare the card position and dimensions with the current part before fitting it.
After fitting, check that the tray slides in without forcing and that the SIM card is detected. Avoid excessive pressure on the chassis and handle the components with clean hands, limiting static electricity.
