Description
The SIM tray is the small part that holds the SIM card and, on some models, the memory card. It sits on the side of the phone and is removed using an ejector pin. When it is damaged, bent or broken, the card may sit incorrectly, no longer be detected or get stuck when ejected.
This part compatible with the Galaxy S23+ lets you replace a faulty SIM tray without changing the whole phone. Before you start, switch off the device, remove the case and prepare a clean, well-lit workspace. Use a suitable tool to avoid scratching the frame, and avoid applying excessive force to the holder.
After fitting, check that the tray slides in and locks without play, then test SIM card detection and the mobile network. If the phone does not recognise the card, check the position of the tray and the cleanliness of the contacts before concluding there is another problem.
