Description
The SIM tray is the small metal or plastic part that holds the SIM card and sometimes the microSD card. It slides into the edge of the phone and maintains contact between the card and the electronics. This compatible tray is designed for the Galaxy S23 FE, reference SM-S711B, and lets you replace a tray that is broken, bent or no longer clicks into place properly.
A damaged tray can cause several problems: the SIM card is no longer detected, the network drops out, the tray will no longer go in or gets stuck. Before you start, switch the phone off completely, remove the case and check that the reference SM-S711B matches your device. Use an ejector pin or a fine tool to open the slot without forcing it.
While fitting, handle the part carefully to avoid electrostatic discharge. Once the tray is back in place, check that it clicks in straight and that the SIM card is detected before closing the device fully. If the tray stays out of position, do not force it and start the installation again from the beginning.
