Description
The SIM tray is the small metal or plastic part that holds the SIM card and, depending on the model, the memory card. It slides into its side slot and makes contact with the device's connectors. This compatible part is designed to replace the Galaxy S24 FE SIM tray when it is broken, bent, jammed or no longer closes properly.
A faulty tray can prevent the SIM card from being detected, cause abnormal play or let in dust and moisture. Before you start, switch the smartphone off completely, remove the case if necessary and use a suitable ejector tool to take out the old tray. Work on a clean surface and avoid static discharge by touching an earthed metal surface.
After fitting, check that the tray slides in without forcing and sits firmly in place. Insert a SIM card, restart the device and check network detection. If the current part has left marks or debris, clean the slot before installing.
