Description
The SIM tray is the small part that holds the SIM card and sometimes the microSD card, and slides into the side of the phone. On the Galaxy S25+, it lets you change your card without opening the device. This compatible tray replaces one that is damaged, bent or no longer locks properly.
The most common faults are a tray that no longer ejects, gets stuck halfway, has too much play or no longer recognises the SIM card. In these cases, replacing it solves the problem without touching the motherboard. Make sure the SIM card is properly seated in the tray before reinserting it.
Before you start, switch off the phone and remove the case. Use the ejector tool to pull out the old tray without forcing it. After fitting, test insertion and ejection several times, then check that the network is detected. Avoid static electricity by touching a metal surface before handling the components.
