Description
The SIM tray is the small metal or plastic part that holds the SIM card and, depending on the model, the microSD card. It fits into the phone's chassis and lets you insert or remove the cards without opening the device. Over time it can break, warp, get stuck or lose its sealing gasket, which stops the card from connecting properly or makes the tray sit crooked.
This part, compatible with the Galaxy S26, replaces the faulty SIM tray. It is made by a third party and does not come from the phone manufacturer. Before you start, switch off the device, remove the case and, if you open the phone, disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables. Avoid excessive heat and protect yourself from static electricity by working on a clean surface.
After fitting, check that the tray slides in and out without force, that the SIM card is recognised and that the gasket is correctly in place. If the battery was disconnected, switch the device back on and check its operation. Never force the tray and never puncture or bend the lithium battery.
