Description
The SIM tray is the small part that holds the SIM card and keeps it in place inside the phone. When it is damaged, bent or broken, the card may not connect properly, or the tray may no longer fit correctly into its slot. This compatible SIM tray for Galaxy S6 Edge replaces the current part so that you can use your SIM card normally again.
Before fitting, switch off the phone and disconnect the battery if your model allows it. Work on a clean, flat surface and avoid electrostatic discharge by touching an earthed metal surface before handling the components. Use a suitable tool, without forcing it, to remove the old tray and insert the new one.
After fitting, check that the tray slides in properly and is aligned with the phone body. Insert a SIM card, switch the device back on and check that the network is detected. If the battery is swollen, do not use it, and do not puncture or bend it.
