Description
The SIM tray is the small holder that takes the SIM card and, depending on the model, the memory card. It lets you insert and remove the card without opening the device. When it is damaged, the card may no longer be recognised, the tray can jam or no longer click into place properly, and the slot can crack. This part is a compatible reference for the Galaxy Z Flip5, made by a third party.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and work on a clean, dry surface. Use a suitable ejection tool and never force the tray. Avoid materials that generate static electricity. If you need to open the device, disconnect the battery before handling any ribbon cables. Never pierce or bend the battery, and do not use it if it is swollen. Keep the temperature moderate during disassembly.
After fitting, check that the tray slides without resistance and locks correctly. Insert a test SIM card, then confirm it is recognised and the network works. If you still have doubts about the fit, do not close the device.
