Description
This compatible SIM tray replaces the holder that takes the SIM card and sometimes the microSD card of your Honor 8X (2018). It gives you clean access to the slot again, especially when the tray is broken, bent, stuck in the phone or no longer closes properly.
The part fits in place of the current tray, after removing the old one. Before you start, switch the device off completely, remove the case and use the ejection tool to pull the tray out. Work in a clean place free of static electricity, and avoid applying excessive force to the frame or the internal connectors.
Once the tray is installed, check that it slides without friction and clicks into position. Insert your SIM card, then restart the phone to confirm the card is detected. If the card is not recognised, check its insertion direction and the alignment of the tray before doing anything else.
