Description
The SIM tray is the small metal part that holds the SIM card and lets you insert it into the tablet. On an iPad Mini 5 (2019), it can crack, bend or lose its alignment after a fall or repeated handling, which makes the card hard to fit or stops the tray from closing properly.
This compatible SIM tray replaces the existing part so the card inserts and closes normally again. It is a third-party part designed to fit this model.
Before fitting, switch off the tablet and remove the existing tray using a suitable tool, without forcing it. Work on a clean surface and avoid static electricity. After replacement, check that the tray slides in and closes without play, then test SIM card detection.
