Description
This compatible SIM tray replaces the SIM card holder of your iPad Pro 9.7" (2016). It holds the SIM card in place and can be removed to change the card. When the tray is broken, bent or no longer fits back into place properly, it can stop the card from making good contact with the reader, which shows up as no network or a card-not-detected message.
Before you start, switch the device off and remove the case if needed. Insert the ejection tool into the small hole in the tray, then pull it out gently. Work on a clean surface and avoid excessive force so you do not damage the chassis. Also remember to discharge any static electricity before handling the components.
Once the tray is fitted, switch the device back on and check that the SIM card is recognised and the network appears. Adjust the alignment of the tray if necessary before pushing it fully closed. If the current part shows signs of heat or impact, also check the condition of the SIM card before reinserting it.
