Description
The SIM tray is the small metal piece that holds the SIM card and slides it into the iPhone 5S. When it is broken, bent or damaged, the SIM card no longer sits properly, can get stuck or may no longer be detected by the phone. This compatible replacement tray gives your SIM card a clean and working slot once again.
This is a compatible part, made by a third party, and not an Apple part. It is offered as an economical alternative for repairing your device. Before fitting, switch off the phone, remove the SIM card and use a suitable ejection tool to take out the current part without forcing it. Disconnect the battery before any work on internal components, and avoid excessive heat.
After replacement, check that the tray slides without play, that the SIM card is correctly positioned and that the phone detects it properly. Do not bend or puncture the lithium battery, and never use a device whose battery is swollen.
