Description
The SIM tray is the small part that holds the SIM card and sometimes the memory card of your phone. On the K10 (2018), it lets you insert or remove these cards without opening the device. A worn or damaged part can make the card difficult to fit, cause it not to be recognised, or stop the tray from closing properly.
This compatible SIM tray is a third-party manufacture, offered as an economical alternative to replace the current part. Before any fitting, check that the reference matches your K10 (2018). Start by switching off the phone and unplugging the charger. Use a suitable ejection tool to release the tray without forcing it.
After reassembly, test inserting and removing the card several times, then check that the card is detected and that the tray stays firmly in place. If the tray moves or does not click into place properly, stop and check its position before continuing.
